We are on the cusp of AI being ubiquitous and challenging the conventional way of doing things. In light of this, we need to make sure that every organization be it small or big needs to think about AI policy. The ones that can come with an AI policy that not only leverages AI for the benefit of the company but also incorporates checks and balances.
What we mean by that can be understood via this example. You are a successful boutique consulting company that provides data engineering services to a large client. Now by leveraging something like copilot or other LLMs that improve their productivity, you can enhance your business however you also need to have checks and balances e.g. if your company allows the use of chatgpt or Gemini - you want to make sure that your employees are not putting in any sensitive information based on the client's project that they are working on and put some checks and balances.
To conclude, everyone needs to be AI smart, whether it's an entrepreneur, business owner or politician AI is going to be defining a lot of aspects of our lives. If you want to chat more about AI policy feel free to book a free consultation
